Remarks | STL airport and Boeing nearby, but object was notably faster moving than I'm used to seeing. As I tried to identify the 'aircraft' the bright object at the tip of the 'contrail' faded quickly to nothing with no discernable change of direction. It could have been an afterburner shutting off, maybe, but I would have still expected to see contrails or the aircraft itself ... so, I'm left thinking it was a possible meteor. |
