Observer
Name Meredith V
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I was on a flight (Frontier 4943) and was facing East when I witnessed this event. The latitude/longitude I reported were the coordinates of the plane based on the Flight Aware track log closest to the time I witnessed the fireball; my altitude at the time was 29750-30400 feet per the same log. I witnessed a light greenish blue linear flash heading toward Earth, then burst into several smaller fragments as it extinguished; whole event lasted approximately 1 second.
