The fireball probably crossed either above or through the constellation Orion, but the sky was a dark blue hue and the stars were beginning to fade so cannot accurately determine where the fireball was relative to background stars or constellations. The tail of the streak was white in the middle and orange hues on the outer edges.

Towards the end of the streak, the meteor had a small flash of white and then the streak ceased, and the meteor itself was quickly visible after the flash before it disappeared.
