Remarks Just before it disappeared (at around 30 degrees from the horizon) it split into two (with maybe a third much smaller piece). The pieces did not appear to separate much before fading out. I was driving NW and it the fireball was practically vertical in my field of view-one piece continued in the vertical trajectory and another piece broke off slightly down toward the right. Entire separation of pieces would be about the size of a full moon.
