Reports Report 7077w (Event 7077-2023)

Observer
Name Catherine S
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Witnessed what I would call a falling star. Large, round with a little distortion around outer edge but very distinct, bright white in color. No sound, no contrail, no flickering or change in color. Angle of fall was slightly off a straight line down. It may have started farther up, but i just caught sight if it as I raised my head while walking down my driveway to get my mail. However once I spotted it I couldn't take my eyes off of it until I lost sight of it behind the trees. Was able to clearly watch it fall for 6-8 seconds before it was blocked by the tree line. It was so exciting. I was awestruck by how bright and clear it was to see. I only wish I had my phone with me so I could have taken picture or video.
