Reports Report 6873f (Event 6873-2023)

Observer
Name Andrew W
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks When I first saw the fireball I thought it was a firework because of how bright it was, how long the tail was, and how it glowed green. I concluded it was not a firework for the following reasons: there was no sound, it had a very straight trajectory, it had a long tail, it appeared in my vision near the zenith and traveled towards the horizon, and it didn't terminate in an explosion.

Remarks The fireball terminated when it broke up into amber glowing fragments, the fragments weren't as bright as the fireball and they look like they exploded from the fireball, but there was no observable blast or flash, it just broke up into several fragments that glowed for only a fraction of a second.
