Reports Report 6797a (Event 6797-2023)

Observer
Name Adrian E
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I am pretty sure I have the date and time correct, but I may be out by a couple of days on the date, and maybe an hour on the timing. (I've only discovered your website today) It was by far and away the most spectacular 'sky event' I have ever seen - way beyond anything I've ever seen observing meteor showers. I found the interactive tools recording the trajectory a little tricky to use, so just to confirm, I was facing close to due West, and the fireball traveled North to South, at pretty much a horizontal trajectory, about 50 degrees above the horizon, and across the middle 70-80% of my field of vision. I've not found any other reports of the fireball - I couldn't see anything on your database ? Many thanks.
