In the distance to my left in the direction the light was heading I heard a slight heavy, boom only for a second. It may have been something else but unlikely at 3:50 am.

The light ball was a faded white tinged with orange. The trail of light which was still visible after the ball had vanished if only for a second and the trail was more or a distinguished orange colour
