Observer
Name Sara G
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks My laptop died during the questionnaire and upon reboot and reopening Firefox I found that my prior answers were still saved; however, I was not able to add/correct the optional info I manually entered. So, continuing on per the 'explosion' part of the fireball, the light appeared very suddenly and very bright white -- perhaps a good comparison would be to liken what I saw to a giant sparkler (like 4th of July sparklers) being ignited in the horizon. It was also quite large like nothing else I had every observed before. The light quickly went from looking like a street lamp in size from my field of vision to expanding to the width of the tree almost perfectly which stood in front me across the street and below the fireball. I want to note that I have witnessed two other fireballs in the same area this last year. One I was lucky enough to catch a low quality video of with my iPhone. Both appeared as dull, small balls of light that were larger than the average streaks across the sky commonly seen but seemed to also be closer than common white streaking lights in the sky. They both also exhibited the exact same orange hue/glow as the one I saw on the 18th. please contact me if you are interested in the video I prior captured.
