Remarks | The time is approximate. It was just after the sun went down over the horizon so I based my time on when I got home and went to sit on the porch to watch the sunset, and what I know of others reporting the same sighting. |

Remarks | The fireball itself was bright and solid, yellow/orange. The train wasn't very long directly behind it but was blue/purple and glowing, no smoke. When it disappeared into the horizon it left a gas like cloud, of purple, reds, orange. The cloud was visible for a few seconds before it disappeared. The fireball and train changed colors traveling across the horizon from southeast to southwest. Starting reds/oranges/yellows to white/blue/purple/magenta. Almost like a shooting star but closer and slower to our atmosphere. At first I thought it was a flare but definitely moving horizontally, larger and faster than a flare. |
