The doors on my barn face west so all I saw was the intense flash coming from the east. It had a peculiar hiss sound almost like an electrical arc.... 2 days earlier I saw one drop from the south coming north on a very steep trajectory, which dropped it south of my position SSW from my position in the barn not very bright but small and white in color.
