Reports Report 5853a (Event 5853-2023)

Observer
Name Justin D
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was just standing in the parking lot, talking to my sister-in-law at the gas station, when the fireball’s flash caught me completely off guard and I gasped as I realized what it was, being it was more than just a chance meteor sighting, considering the intensity of the light it let out and the length of time it remained visible in the sky. it also seemed to stretch itself out in a visible line along its trajectory as well before the tail and caught up with the leading end and then completely disappearing ! what an incredible and fascinating chance sightless !? This is my first sighting/report outside of a regular meteor shower with the naked eye with my bare eyes, and without a camera/equipment to capture the event!
