Reports Report 5531n (Event 5531-2023)

Observer
Name Dan B
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks The official time on my camera was about 5:52:07 a.m. CDT. I wish that I had seen. As luck would have it I was even out on my walk at the time but was facing the wrong way. I noticed the fireball on my meteor cameras later when I was reviewing them this morning. It was partly to mostly cloudy here in Northern Missouri but showed up in a thin sliver of clear skies along the horizon in the brightening dawn twilight and so wasn't as noticeable as one would be against a dark background. With the auroras last night and the clouds this morning, I was not prepared for such a neat meteor.
