Remarks | I am a pilot, and observed this during flight. Plane was on approx heading of 98 degrees magnetic, and I was on the right side of the plane with view to the south and southeast. We were descending through 10,000 feet at the time I observed this streak. We were visual at the time, reported skies were broken at 8,000 feet so cloud layer was well below us. I can provide more detail if necessary. My responses to your angular questions in this submission form were as if I had been observing it from the ground, but I was not. It was at just above eye level for me from my vantage point at 10,000 feet. |
