Remarks | I have seen at last a dozen random meteors but this was by far the brightest and closest. So much that I am still in shock and disbelief what I just saw. It created a trail that was bright and intermittent, probably 4 brief streaks of light within 3 seconds. I would bet a paycheck that by the last fizzling flash it was within the city limits and below 2,000 feet. I will be watching the local news stories tomorrow to see if it was caught on any cameras. |
