The flash startled me enough for me to remark to my stepmother that I just saw an explosion in the sky. The white light streak lasted a long time compared to meter showers I have seen in the past. After the streak of light faded I could see a wavy smoke trail I thought that was odd because there was no sound I ruled out fireworks. It looked like a plane had crashed in the sky.

Smoke trail that was wavy not a strait line. It looked like and explosion in the sky with a wavy multicolored trail that left a smoke trail of its path. Starteled me while I was on the phone outside but there was no sound.
