Remarks 09-10-2023 0847 ET SWA Flight 3079 DCA 05:55 TPA 08:15 CT Video taken while descending through 18,000 to 13,000 feet on Dades 1 Arrival to KTPA near CAPOH intersection at 290 KIAS, heading south. Approximately N29.3 W082.32. Video of rocket launch SILENTBARKER/NROL107 from Cape Canaveral from L2 (sliding) window of B737. Had a heads up about launch from someone on guard frequency so I set up iPhone 14 on mini tripod attached to EFB in cinematic video mode and pointed it in general direction of Cape while we attended to duties. Upon review of video, I noticed at 0:19 a blurred light patch moving South to North (on video from right to left), up the coast and possibly over or near the launch site. Zoom in on video over launch site is required to see object and it moves fast. I confirmed with other pilot that neither of us saw the blurred light patch visually during the flight. Distance to launch site approximately 105 NM, 133 degrees magnetic. From video, object appears to move from over launch site to north end of Cape in about 4 seconds. Estimated Velocity = 13 NM / 4 seconds = 11,700 NM/hr. Asteroid or meteor?
