Remarks I was facing variant elevation topography to the north, north easterly, oriented toward Polaris, from my vantage point the fireball traveled from east to west, below Polaris and above the mountain range in a very horizontal trajectory. The sky was not completely dark as the Sun had recently set. The fireball's speed seemed slow to me.
