| Remarks | Two trails, I only started paying attention after the big round flash, but think the train start before. It was an orange wake: in fact two wakes orange and bright close to the object, more dark red as it vanished farther away. For a moment I was very scared, since the two wakes had a spacing comparable to the condensation trails of an aircraft: but significantly bigger, maybe 2 to 3 times wider spacing, and orange like fire. I was in doubt if this was an explosion in flight. |
| Terminal flash | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | The flash was extremely bright: first white (it’s almost as if I felt it on my left eye for the remainder of the evening), followed by light green and light blue colours (not sure if blue or green came first). Before/After the flash I observed the orange wake for a short instant, not sure about the fragmentation. Overall, it was really impressive, remarkably beautiful and intimidating at the same time. |
