Reports Report 5012nx (Event 5012-2023)

Observer
Name Victoria C
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks My report, while using the specificities of degrees, is a best guess, I only saw the tail end, and my friend Bill who was facing it at the time saw more of it. I am very unsure about the colors I saw, but it was bright. While we were in Margaretville, and in a parking lot, there was not a ton of wide scale light pollution, but there were a few flood/streetlights on. It was low enough to the ground that I had to shift to see the trajectory, or else it would have been covered by the large building across the street. (Perhaps halfway down the building by the end of the tail, where it sputtered.) I have put in 9:25pm because that is when I understand it happened, but please correct my entry to “sometime around 9:30pm” if you want what I would have put. (It demands an exact time, which I don’t have from my sighting.)
