Observation Yes
Remarks it was so bright & so sudden I almost wondered if it could be a firecracker; but it was a single streak brightening & ending in a flare, like shooting stars I've seen in meteor showers, but much brighter & larger, so seeming closer, so much I then seriously wondered if there could be fragments left to land as a meteorite not far away (a few miles north maybe?!) though it seemed to flare out, like maybe it burned up; heard no sound, but I was wearing headphones & a firecracker that large & big would have popped loud enough to not only hear over my music, but to feel vibration; the eerie thing about the bright light was the silence; seemed to shift through shades, maybe white through yellow to green, or vv; my first impression was to tell others around me, "Did you see that? Such a bright light! It was GREEN!"
