What caught my attention at first was a bright flah of light that lit up the whole area as if it was a bolt of lightening. when I looked up that was when I saw the "fire ball" streaking across the sky. I was surprised at how bright the intial flah of light was.

Remarks
The smoke trail was glowing white in the middle fading into yellow toward the top and bottom edges with what looked like a bright blue outline. The glow only lasted for a second or two before turning into just a regular white smoke trail.
