Reports Report 4984r (Event 4984-2023)

Observer
Name Sean C
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks The second close meteor we both saw, make a sizzling, cracking, swooshing noise! I have only seen one other meteor make contact with the ground, and that was 3 years ago or so. So wild! What are the odds of seeing 2 hitting the ground? Than another in space- shooting star

Remarks Saw meteor flash bright green, Almost thought it was a firework. It flashed bright across sky leaving green trail Rhonda it. Both my son and I saw it at the same time as I was driving. We tried to find where it landed but it appeared to land in the woods. About 45 min later, we were driving home from pick up a pizza and we saw another one. This one lit up bright green and shot straight down into the deep woods again!! Then once we got home 10 min later we both saw a shooting star in space. 3 green meteors within an hour! It was spectacular!!!
