About 11- 11:15 p.m. on 9/27/13 we saw a BRIGHT white/blue tint light that was so sudden and intense, I was afraid to get up of our front porch to investigate. Blinding light that actual hurt my eyes. Lite up the sky around our house, our front yard and surrounding area... Bright sky and close to the horizon. At first I thought it was a police car shining his high beams on our house and thought it couldn't be. Then worried it was a plane coming in too low or an explosive. No sound. Just a huge flash of light that stayed on for a few seconds. My husband and I just sat there and silently said, "What in the world was that?" A minute later, dogs around our peaceful neighborhood started to bark. We guessed it was a meteor, but not sure. I have seen 2 before, but nothing THIS dramatic. I stayed up to see if there were any reports on the internet. Found this site. Curious to see what it really was. |
