I live very in the rural countryside and I was returning to my house after doing my last nightly check on my horses and saw this. It seemed to startle both my horses and my barn cats, who at first froze then took off running after this meteor experience. I questioned if I should've done the same. Odd my animals even reacted.

Saw this long white streak suddenly going across the sky. There was a big flash and it seemed to break into 5 pieces that were suddenly red colored then everything dimmed out to black
