Reports Report 4343c (Event 4343-2023)

Observer
Name Jeffrey B
Experience Level 5/5
Remarks I did not see this event but checked my all-sky camera (allsky-340c) when I saw a pending report at the same time from Placitas, NM. The 60 second exposure including the time of the Placitas, NM report had this streak at the bottom of the image to the east. I had the 5Hz chopper turned on so it looks like the streak is flashing, but from the number of flashes the trail lasted around 3.5 seconds. From a very rough look at the raw fits file and the intensity of the brighter parts of the trail with 1/5 second chops compared to the moon brightness, it seems the object was about 2.5 magnitudes brighter than the moon at the time. This is a very rough estimate.
