Remarks B.S. in Astronomy University of Illinois, 1971. The meteor path was a long, gently curving downward arc. covering about 2/3 the span of the sky at that height. Not part of a meteor shower. Clear night. You might want to add weather conditions as part of the questionnaire. Good questionnaire!

Remarks Broke apart at end of arc, like the Space Shuttle and other vids I've seen of meteors. Maybe 3-4 pieces.
