Reports Report 3961k (Event 3961-2023)

Observer
Name Jezabel L
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks We saw it from the front porch of my home. We went outside to observe the full moon. My husbands phone has 100x zoom so I was messing around with his phone camera trying to get pics of the moon but it’s hard to hold it still so I sat on my front steps facing the moon to my left from my front porch stairs to steady myself. Finished taking pictures, handed the phone back to my husband and then walked back up the stairs to stand on my porch while talking to him. The bright flash caught my eye and I said “omg what is that?!” And he watched with me. It was definitely closer than the typical falling star and much brighter than even the full moon was. It was like it exploded then shot down and to the left slightly.
