| Remarks | I was outside of our house at the time - enjoying the sunrise. Had earlier noticed the bright partial moon and Orion constellation nearby, high up in the sky - facing east at the time. Saw the meteor - came in high in the sky from the west, heading to the east. I waited for several minutes after seeing this meteor, fearing it might have a delayed acoustic shock wave associated with it, similar to that of the recent meteor over Russia. I heard nothing over several minutes. It was very quiet at that time in the neighborhood of our house. |

| Remarks | Started off as a normal meteor, but rapidly got brighter and brighter, until it was too bright to look at - hurt my eyes. Saw several fragments break off, but each of these faded out ~ quickly, while main portion was still bright. |
