Remarks The time between seeing the object and hearing the sound was perhaps 10-20 seconds. I was un loading groceries from the car in the driveway and into the house. First bag up the driveway, saw the flash, walked into the house, set the bag down, came right back out, heard the boom.

Remarks As deep and thunderous as thunder, but with a sharper attack, like an explosion, followed by a muffled rumble rumble as it dissipated. At first I thought it was thunder, but the shape of the sound was different. Distant thunder rumbles in. This was more like a burst.
