Remarks | A solid bright "shooting star" with a tail. Out of curiosity when I got inside I googled meteor september 26, 2013 and there were reports of a large fireball meteor earlier in the evening. Not sure how what I saw would be related, but I am guessing it is more than coincidence. Wish you were around during 1991-92 school year (I know no internet) as I saw a massive fireball meteor on the outskirts of Ann Arbor, Michigan. The entire sky lit up as if it was daytime for 2-3 seconds and thought at first it might be a plane crash. Was looking southeast when I saw it with its motion (prior to the fireball) in a somewhat southerly direction. |
