The speed of that fireball was truly amazing, and so was the flash it produced. It was right there, almost directly over the area where I was standing.

The object "exploded" (desintegrated) right in my field of vision, producing a very bright flash and illuminating the sky for a brief moment (1 second). When it "exploded", it produced a "cracking" sound.
