Remarks This was an amazing site... I have never seen a meteor of this size and intensity. My husband missed it, but caught the flash out of the corner of his eye. There was a rocket, named LADEE, that was to be launched to the moon at 11:27pm on this evening in Virginia, so I thought that it was a light from that, that maybe it was launched sooner. Now I see that it WAS a meteor and has been sighted by others as well. AWESOME!
