| Remarks | First sighting in my life of any asteroid/meteor. It was quite fast and lasted 3-3.5 seconds. I was driving along a very dark, undeveloped part of I-75, so there was no light pollution. I knew the light of this object was moving too fast to be an airplane, and it also didn't completely reach ground level or the horizon for the object to land anywhere; it simply died out and disappeared before reaching the ground. It didn't have erratic or unnatural "UFO"-like movement either. I quickly realized it must've been an asteroid/meteor. |
