Reports Report 2574p (Event 2574-2023)

Observer
Name DAVE H
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I am a member of an Astronomical society and have a lot of sky gazing experience but not neccessarily with meteors. This was extremely fast, very bright with a very short duration. It appeared to me to be descending maybe 20 degrees from vertical east to west as i looked roughly NNE. An aircraft had just taken off to my left heading approx north then turning towards east. As it past behind airport buildings it passed roughly where I had seen an event in the sky a few minutes earlier. I was with 2 others but unfortunately they did not see it as they were both concentrating on the departing aircraft.
