Remarks Calling myself an astronomer feels like a bit of a stretch but I do enjoy being aware of the visible universe we are able to observe. So two things: 1.) had no watch, so time is approximate (plus or minus 20 minutes). 2.)I think I experienced a classic Lyrid (my first).

Remarks meteor displayed pale green trail ("lunar rock" if you're familiar with Toyota trim colors) across several degrees of sky, but head was yellow going to orange, which brightened just before fading (the light green trail fading more slowly) just before going dark
