Reports Report 2233at (Event 2233-2023)

Observer
Name Greg G
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks My initial thought was firework because it was green and did make a sort of crackling sound and it was seemingly lower in the atmosphere. I concluded it wasn't because of 1.) distance traveled and amount of area lit up by the event. It definitely lit up the sky. 2.) Fireworks usually involve people and the usual pop at the end. It was higher than usual fireworks go but certainly not as high as some of the meteors I have seen. 3.) No loud pop at the end or glittery stuff sprouting out. 4.) Nearby houses were all dark. No one nearby outside partying. No voices, ohhs and ahhs or laughter hearable. This left me to surmise it was either a meteor or a piece of space junk.
