| Remarks | I was driving south and in a gap in the trees on the right side of the road I saw the fireball in a SSW low position travelling in an easterly direction. After a few seconds I lost sight when trees obscured my view again. I did not see it land. It was not a smooth needle-like distant object, it was round, unstable flaring and sparking giving me a lot of detail. I cannot report a trail due to trees. Because of the amount of detail, it gave the impression of being close, within 10-15 miles. |

| Remarks | During the window I saw it between trees it had a flaring head which exploded/flared in the air and threw off one bright spark in it's wake. |
