| Remarks | I was surprised to see this so bright, at this time of day, ahead of Lyrids meteor shower. I have never seen one when not actively observing a meteor shower, and never one this large. I was driving in a closed vehicle, so it was not possible to hear anything related to this but have to assume it otherwise was heard by those on the ground. It was large and sudden, terminating below the horizon midpoint. So amazing! |
