Remarks | I often look at the moon, stars & planets with my spotting scope, but on this evening I was sitting on my front porch, talking on the phone & looking at the north horizon on a very clear night. All of a sudden, I spotted a large, bright green ball with an long, arching orangish-red tail fairly low to the horizon. The object was 1st spotted just above my distant pines then disappeared just b4 reaching horizon. |
