I always assumed meteors were a quick event. This lasted 6 to 7 seconds and I assumed it was space debris. I am curious to know what I saw this morning.

Remarks
Started as a long orange/yellow tail that transitioned to a couple of trailing flashes and then ended with it separating into 4 white pieces that faded out. The 4 pieces seemed to continue in the same direction only a short amount of time and then faded out to nothing.
