Reports Report 1179l (Event 1179-2023)

Observer
Name KEN M
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was looking out my upstairs bedroom window facing Northeast toward the Santa Ana Mountains, Santiago Peak. There was cloud coverage behind the mountain range, and at 5:37 am PST. the sun was just beginning to light the early morning sky. The object was traveling slower than a shooting star, yet faster than a plane. The object became brighter as the further East it had traveled, I lost sight after the object went behind the tree line, than below the horizon. Sighting lasted 7-9 seconds.
