Though I described the fire ball as blue-green, almost bright teal or turquoise in shade, my sister and I both agree we saw flashes of purple on the edge of the tail.

Remarks
It looked like a steak of fire streaming across the sky. Like a super fast firework but much larger. It flickered. It seemed to spark like a wet log in a campfire.

Remarks
Just before it disappeared a piece about 1/4th the size of the main “ball” broke off. It flickered and vanished at the same time. Sparks dispersed around it.
