Reports Report 1036h (Event 1036-2023)

Remarks I saw this bright streak terminating very low in the sky as I sat in the left turn lane on Dodridge, preparing to turn left on to Alemeda. The flash streaked and terminated just above the buildings. It was burning bright yellow/white. Very short duration. I found it odd and extremely curious until reports surfaced Thursday of a meteor that impacted South Texas. I believe it’s important to report this fragment which was almost certainly connected to the event. The event was only appreciated visually. The radio was on in the car and no sound or vibrations were noticed.
