Reports Report 10463a (Event 10463-2022)

Observer
Name Peter D
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks The objects in the sky looked just like the picture in the book "Meteorites", The story of our solar system, Second Edition, Caroline Smith, Sara Russell & Natasha Almeida, Firefly Books Ltd. 2019. The objects looked like the picture on page 8 of a Peekskill meteorite. The date is approximate since I do not remember the exact date. It did happen in the early fall timeframe. There were 5 or 6 lights in the string of lights and lasted 2 to 3 seconds as they passed almost directly overhead of my position. It surprised me when the lights appeared to the west, streaked across the sky overhead and disappeared to the east. I am re-reading the Meteorites book again and remembered that incident so I thought you might want to check-out that sighting. If I don't hear anything from you, I will not bother you again. Respectfully, Peter Disterlic Lt.Col, Retired
