Reports Report 482c (Event 482-2023)

Observer
Name Phil M
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks First time I've ever seen a fireball. Absolutely certain that this was what is was. Slightly worried i am a little out with the time by 15 or 20 minutes. I was looking south towards Southampton. It glowed brighter momentarily before it disappeared. I imagined it was burning in the upper atmosphere. It seemed relatively close - certainly much much closer than shooting stars i have seen and heading downward at a much steeper angle than anything else I've seen.
