| Remarks | It was the fastest, brightest, and closest (or biggest) meteor I have ever seen, I expected to hear a sonic boom but did not. It started almost overhead to the north of my position, and looked to go vertically down almost to the horizon. It was a blue streak to start, a very bright orange flash, then dimmed, then a bright yellow flash. It was very fast, about 1-2 seconds for the entire event. |
