Wow! We were sitting in the hot tub in the dark. I was facing the direction of the flash and saw it straight on. My husband was facing and said whatever it was lit up the house like car head lights shining on it! Several minutes before this burst, I thought I saw a falling star out of my peripheral vision off to the northwest. Thought it was odd it was headed directly for the ground. Must hAve been connected.
