Remarks | While driving to work, a bright flash of light, like a lightning strike blocks away, flashed just out of the driver's side window. As quickly as it caught my attention and I looked left I saw the most magnificent pink/purple fireball trail down toward the earth. All I could do was let my vehicle idle as I waited for the Younger Dryas or shockwave to hit. Those examples are a bit exaggerated but the anxiety was natural, it wasn't but a few seconds later I noticed the 4 vehicles behind me all slowed to a crawl with varying spacing as if we were all awaiting the same outcome. I turned off a back road after calling a friend to tell him about the event thankfully timestamping it, sadly I saw no more. |
