Remarks The data I have supplied are the best approximation after the fact. I made this opservation while I was driving. I watched this as I drove home in East Central Illinois. It began about 20 drgrees above the western horizon. It lasted until it was only a few degrees above the horizon. It had a medium length tail approximately 5° long traveling north along the horizon and down at an angle of about 30° .
